Fabien Apper

Fabien Apper is the CEO and co-founder of U-Space, a Toulouse-based nanosatellite manufacturer he launched in 2018 after working as a systems engineer on ISAE-SUPAERO's student CubeSat missions.

Fabien Apper is an aerospace engineer who graduated from ISAE-SUPAERO in Toulouse. While there he worked on the school's student nanosatellite programs, including EntrySat and EyeSat (a CNES-backed CubeSat project), and went on to serve as a Nanosatellite Systems Engineer at ISAE-SUPAERO from 2016 to 2019. He also completed an internship at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In 2018, Apper co-founded U-Space alongside Antoine Ressouche and Nicolas Humeau, colleagues he met on the EyeSat project. U-Space designs and manufactures modular nanosatellite platforms for constellation operators and commercial, scientific, and defense customers, operating a highly automated production line ("U-Zine") modeled on automotive manufacturing. The company closed a €24M Series A in November 2025 led by Blast, Definvest (French Ministry of Armed Forces), and Expansion, following an earlier €7M seed round.
