Guy Flechter is an Israeli cybersecurity executive with roots in the Israeli Air Force's information security/cyber unit. He built his industry expertise over roughly a decade in corporate security roles — Information Security Team Lead at LivePerson, security consultant at Comsec, and DPO/CISO at AppsFlyer — before earning an MBA in Finance from IDC Herzliya (Reichman University) and moving into entrepreneurship. In late 2020 he co-founded Cider Security, building an AppSec platform for orchestrating end-to-end CI/CD pipeline security. Under his leadership as CEO, Cider Security raised a $32M Series A and was acquired by Palo Alto Networks in November 2022 in a deal reported at up to $300M.
