Karl Rosander

Karl Rosander is a Stockholm-based serial entrepreneur who spent over two decades building digital businesses before moving into defense technology. He co-founded podcast platform Acast in 2013, serving as an executive (including Chief Strategy Officer) until stepping back from operations in 2017 and leaving the board in 2018 after its Nasdaq IPO. He also co-founded Sesamy, a Stockholm micropayments platform for paywalled content, in 2020, and remains its Chairman. In late 2023 a small technical team pitched Rosander an interceptor concept; he took the CEO role himself, and Nordic Air Defence AB was incorporated in March 2024 with Rosander as co-founder, CEO, and Chairman. It emerged from stealth in September 2024 with the Kreuger 100, a battery-powered, software-guided drone interceptor built to counter low-cost drone threats cheaply.
