Founding partner of One Way Ventures, a VC firm backing immigrant founders; former Director of Techstars Boston.
Dukach was born in Moscow in 1968 and immigrated to the US at age 11. He earned a BS in Computer Science from Columbia University and an MS in Computer Science from MIT, where he became a lead player on the MIT Blackjack Team — his exploits later inspired the book Busting Vegas and the film 21. Before Techstars, he co-founded several companies including Fast Engines (sold to Adero in 2000), and was an active angel investor with 100+ startup investments including Preply and Quanergy. He served as Managing Director of Techstars Boston from 2014-2017, then co-founded One Way Ventures in 2017 to back immigrant entrepreneurs, drawing on his own experience as a refugee.
