Trevor Rees-Jones is a Dallas-based investor and co-founder of Cubit Capital, the early-stage venture capital arm of his family's office, Rees-Jones Holdings. He is the son of billionaire oil and gas entrepreneur Trevor D. Rees-Jones, founder of Chief Oil & Gas, and should not be confused with either his father or the unrelated Trevor Rees-Jones known for surviving the 1997 Paris car crash that killed Diana, Princess of Wales. After a BS from Texas Christian University (2011), he worked as an analyst at Chief Partners, LP from 2017 to 2019 while completing an MBA at SMU's Cox School of Business. He has served as Co-President of Rees-Jones Holdings since 2019, overseeing the family office's mineral and royalty rights holdings across roughly a million net mineral acres in 31 states. In 2022 he co-founded Cubit Capital as Founding Partner, investing pre-seed through Series A across two thematic pillars: 'Enduring Infrastructure' (energy resilience, critical materials, aerospace and defense) and 'Platforms for Human Flourishing.'
