DIANA Decision Superiority for NATO Warfighters Challenge

NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) launched the Decision Superiority for NATO Warfighters challenge, coordinated with NATO Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), to source AI/ML-enhanced decision-support, modelling-and-simulation, and operational-wargaming tools for Allied Command Operations, targeting TRL7+ startups and non-traditional suppliers able to deploy within months. Ten companies — Matrix Pro Sim, Hadean, Watchtower Labs, Flai, Grist Mill Exchange, Decent Cybersecurity, ETE Technology, Onebrief, Picogrid, and Levato AS — were selected in July 2026, each receiving €100,000 to integrate with Maven Smart System NATO (MSS NATO) and demonstrate to Allied Command Operations by December 2026.
