The European Patrol Corvette is a PESCO project adopted in 2019 to develop a new class of modular naval surface combatants for European navies. Led by Italy, France, Spain and Greece, the programme is co-funded by the European Defence Fund with €60M for the first phase and €154.5M for the second phase, involving Fincantieri, Naval Group, and Navantia.
