Poland's inner-tier short-range air-defence programme: 22 batteries combining MBDA's CAMM missiles/iLaunchers with Polish autocannon and infrared-guided missiles, forming the innermost layer of Poland's WISLA-NAREW-PILICA+ layered air-defence network.
PILICA+ is designed to protect Polish troops and critical infrastructure against aircraft, helicopters, drones, and cruise missiles, forming the innermost tier beneath the mid-tier NAREW and upper-tier WISLA systems in a layered national network. The first serial Pilica system was handed over to Polish forces in November 2025 -- the first of 16 units under a contract between the Armaments Agency and the PGZ-PILICA+ consortium -- following earlier CAMM missile/iLauncher deliveries in September 2025, with integration and training handled domestically ahead of fielding to Polish Air Defence regiments.
